About Us

Retired US Air Force and handyman who wanted to make life easier for those who own a RV and having problems with the attached metal fold down steps.

The original idea came from Ron's cousin with a 5th wheel RV whose wife and grandchildren were having difficulties with the metal fold down steps.

Ron, Sheila, and our manufacturer, Clint, took the original idea and expanded it to the current design. Our manufacturer, Clint, is a retired construction supervisor and an experienced finish carpenter who now works from his home workshop in Dale, Texas (southeast of Austin, Texas).

We wanted to offer a product that will make your stay much more pleasant and safer, and the wooden staircase unit is very appealing, complementing your beautiful RV home.

RV manufacturers do not have to meet standard residential stair codes with their metal fold-down steps, therefore, making them rather difficult and risky to use.
We are selling a product that is much more safe and secure to use and pleasant to the eye. The assembled unit meets or exceeds all safety standards for stair step system design.

Due to shipping/transportation costs, we now only deliver in the State of Texas with a reasonable delivery and setup fee. If you are out of state, but plan to make a trip to or through Texas, we can rendezvous with you to deliver the product.
